The "Futu No.1" series of wheat species are a major scientific research result with high technology and high tillering in super finishing sowing by agricultural cultivation specialist Mr. Hu Jianhua who has spent 18 years of effort for the achievement. They are on par with the advanced world standard, having succeeded in seven years of ecological regional experiments.The comprehenxive promotion of this series of species will bring mammoth reform and ferocious growth to the wheat production in China and the world.

The "Futu No.1" wheat series of species are winter varieties, suitable for cultivation within the range of 30-400 north latitude, they are highly productive and high tillering ( average tillering of earbearing is 20-70 spikes), each 1,000 pieces weigh 37-43 grams; the super finishing sowing per acre ("mu"=0.0667 hectare) is approximately one kilogram, a saving of about 90% in sowing than wheat. Protein content is about 13.5%, and the moist gluten content is about 30.6%, all of them on par with the superior wheat standard. In medium and high rich water fields, the potential in production growth is more than 500-600kg, and is capable of disease prevention and anti-tilting. Under the premise of unchanded area for wheat plantation in China currently, if it is promoted for large area cultivation, several hundred million kilograms may be saved annually, with increased wheat production of up to tens of billion kilograms. This carries great significance in the improvement of wheat production in China and the development of superb species.
